Aerial [Manlift] safety class covers applicable OSHA, ANSI regulations and NMSU interpretation. Contents: It includes lecture on components, operation, typical use hazards, fall protection, written competency quiz; individual hands-on review of operational skill & ability. Instruction methods: lecture, handouts with additional information, a slide and/or movie/video presentation, performance evaluation(quiz), and hands-on practice/use of aerial lift. Who should attend: This class is required of all employees with duties or activities using an aerial lift. Training Frequency: As determined by instructor, the 3-year refresher may be limited to hands-on equipment operation.
