Abstract
Millennials are moving on and Generation Z (about 23 years old and younger) make up a growing percentage of our college classrooms. Data shows these learners have different ideas about work, learning, and life; new ideas, new needs, new fears, and new goals.
This session will review survey research data and place it in the context of the 2020 college classroom. Participants will learn why this generation is different and how faculty can adapt their teaching strategies to make learning more relevant and engaging.
